Marbelous Floor

We have long been admirers of Snedker Studios' Marbelous Floor having first seen it over on BLTD

Pernille is the creator of Snedker Studio and she explores the process of adding striking colours to pinewood to create a bright, marbled floor, where every single board is different, but when put together provide a wonderful one of a kind floor

We were fortunate to have a project in Wimbledon where the Client wanted something striking and new in the loft space we created, so we got in touch with Pernille and she started the process of hand preparing each board! The rooms intended use was to display some artwork and a place of relaxation where we constructed a birch exposed plywood library unit in the eaves, with plywood cupboards and door fronts elsewhere. The images and video show the floor just after it was installed
